I like to look at pictures of the universe in the morning. It reminds me that we are part of something much larger than ourselves.
We were nothing, came from nothing,
became a spark, a child of energy,
expanding a billion miles a second,
simmering, a soup with no light.
We coalesced, came together
in a marriage of energies,
until we became magnets
building upon each other.
We were the tiniest of the void.
We became a million billion worlds,
creatures of unimaginable forms
in the simple art of being.
We are here.
I am here.
