Here is the thing. I have observed many people over the past year or two, claiming fake news. More often than not what they are purporting is information that is false. The intention seems clear, to divert the thinking of those who are not able to or willing to employ reason, logic and critical thinking and investigate credible sources to support or refute the information. It appears to be an obvious shame that a great many people are mislead by claims of fake news simply for nefarious, usually political motives.

It is not good enough to simply believe something of consequence just because somebody says so, especially if they are trying to discredit an opposing view. They suck in the weak minded. This is dangerous because numbers matter when it comes to things like voting and public opinion.

Check multiple CREDIBLE sources, including opposing views, before deciding if critical information is real or fake.
