Here is a small taste of the family tree from the Ancestors series. These were real people (mostly). Generation 1 Pierre Charron is the Reeve from ‘Agnes of Meaux’. 1. PIERRE CHARRON was born about 1450 in Meaux, Brie, Champagne, Seine-Sur-Marne, France. He died about 1500 in Meaux. He married MARGUERITE VANASSE. She was born about 1460.

Pierre Charron and Marguerite Vanasse had the following child:

i. PIERRE ‘Le Fils’ CHARRON was born about 1485 in Meaux, Brie, Champagne, Seine-Sur-Marne, France.

Generation 2

2. PIERRE ‘Le Fils’ CHARRON was born about 1485 in Meaux, Brie, Champagne, Seine-Sur-Marne, France. He died on 15 Oct 1543 in Meaux. He married MATHILDE BONIN. She was born about 1485 in France. She died about 1520.

PIERRE ‘Le Fils’ CHARRON and Mathilde Bonin had the following children:

i. JEHAN CHARRON was born in 1501. He married Agnès GODARD about 1555.  He was a Master Fuller in Meaux

ii. JACQUES CHARRON was born in 1501. He married Claude POTHONNIER about 1543. He was a Fuller/wool merchant in Meaux

iii. SAMSON CHARRON was born in 1509. He married Marion LELONG about 1548. He was a tanner in Meaux

iv. MICHELLE MARIE NICOLE CHARRON was born in 1511. She married François MACÉ about 1543.

v. GILLES CHARRON was born about 1515.

Generation 3

3. GILLES CHARRON was born about 1515. He died on 09 Jan 1582. He married (1) CATHERINE GILLET. She died on 18 Nov 1573. He married (2) MARGUERITE ROUSSEL.

Gilles was a merchant and haberdasher at the Grand Market in Meaux

Gilles CHARRON and Catherine GILLET had the following children:

i. ÉTIENNE CHARRON was born in 1545. He died on 29 Oct 1610. He married (1) FARONNE DESGUEZ. She was born about 1545. She died on 16 Jun 1586 in Meaux (St-Rémy), FRANCE. He married (2) MARGUERITE PAUVREAYDE about 1587. She was born in 1547. She died on 29 Oct 1610.

ii. PIERRE CHARRON. He was a merchant in Meaux

iii. JEHANNE CHARRON. She married CHARLES LE NOIR.  Charles was a merchant in Meaux

iv. CLAUDE CHARRON. He was a master weaver in Meaux

v. MAGDELAINE CHARRON. She married ROLAND SALADIN.  Roland was a bourgeois merchant in Meaux
